Book One - Escape From Fnordish
Book one started as a conversation in an instant messaging window.
It amused me enough that I thought I would do a cleanup of the text and see if
I could continue with it and make a complete story. The initial conversation
became chapter one, and the first three chapters were written sometime in 2007.
In September of 2008, after a long period of a mixture of writer's block, a full
schedule, and laziness**,
I dusted it off and kept on writing. Book one may be over, but the tale
is far from over.
Lil Lisa Wyzass drew me some cover art! Thanks Lisa, you've done an awesome job. Check it out everyone - it's super pretty.
There's a whole lot of elements from the story all blended in there - no really, there is! Just don't ask me to show them to you. Perhaps one day Lisa will do us up a cheat sheet so we can find them all.

Book Two - Escape From Squishpoo
My plan had always been to end the tale upon the arrival at
Squishpoo***.
With only one chapter remaining to be written, however, my muse struck and
the plot for a sequel unfolded in my head. And so book two was born.

When Heidi was here visiting me at the end of May 2009, she cooked up a batch of cookie peoples.
Well bugger me, the peoples were all characters from the Fnordish books! Check em out - they look great, and I must admit that after the photo session was done they tasted even greater :) (click the picture on the side to see them all)
